GLOBUS FAMILY OF BRANDS TRAVEL ADVISORS PORTAL
At the Globus family of brands Travel Advisors Portal -- U.S. and Canadian versions -- registered agents can make new Avalon Waterways reservations, retrieve e-documents, view e-brochures and make EFT deposits. The portal is the place to learn about the latest Avalon Waterways promotions and travel agent discounts, and also links advisors to specialist programs at the Globus family of brands University (GFOBU).
The Globus family of brands relies on travel advisors as its most important distribution channel. On its website consumers are invited to view a PDF document titled ‘Why Use A Travel Agent.’ Consumers can also search for an experienced, accredited, and knowledgeable Avalon Waterways travel advisor near them by inputting their state/province or zip/postal code.
AGENT TRAINING
Globus says it sees an average increase in sales of more than 30% from travel advisors who complete specialist training at the Globus family of brands University. Once an advisor completes the program they receive a certificate of completion, expert designation and exclusive expert logo they can use on their own website. They also earn the right to participate in the Avalon Waterways agent discount program.
GFOB offers a Travel Advisor Guide for agents to download. The 72-page guide titled ‘The Power of Family,’ is a great resource, detailing the many supports and services available to travel advisors.
